Physiotherapy, Spinal, Sports and Complementary Care Clinics in London

As Physiotherapists conducting the assessments and presentations, we have the benefit of applying years of clinical experience to each individual assessment and are able to tailor each training presentation for the candidates participating.
The services we provide are:

1. Standard Workstation Assessment:

  • 30 minute DSE (display screen equipment) assessment
  • Ensures workstation compliance
  • Advice, hints and tips regarding working posture provided
  • Conducted by a Physiotherapist
  • Issues related to workstation setup will be highlighted for further attention.

2. Clinical Workstation Assessment:

  • 1 Hour DSE assessment carried out by one of our Physiotherapists
  • Where necessary alterations will be made to the workstation to best fit the employee
  • Suited to staff with musculo-skeletal complaints or RSI injury
  • Detailed written report supplied including findings and recommendations

3. CityBacks Ergonomic Posture Management Training:

  • 1 Hour Ergonomic postural training and education for office based staff
  • Caters for small groups or larger audience
  • Introduces a strategy for self-management of posture at work in order to reduce the risk of work related injuries
  • Hints, tips and advice on ergonomics, posture and desk layout

At Physio in the City we aim to educate our clients to adopt better posture and ergonomic habits in order to minimize the risk of work related injuries. No matter how good the ergonomic equipment or chair provided, if the individual sits with poor posture, these tools are of little use and poor value for money. A small investment in training to improve postural habit adds significant value to your ergonomic equipment and is also seen as an additional benefit to staff beyond the statutory requirements.
